Alexa Cavalieri: In case you're reading this, WELCOME TO MY BLOG! My name is Alexa Cavalieri. Professionally, I do program management in the Aerospace & Defense industry in El Segundo, CA. My bachelors degree is in Finance from Old Dominion University. My current focus at work in on scheduling and financial operations of in-development satellite programs. I grew up as a military "brat" (debatable). My dad was a US Naval Officer involved in oceanic research. I moved around a lot as a child, but have spent most of my life in Southern California. I have been lucky to always live on the water. It seems that my passions stemmed from his career and where we were located. My hobbies include all types of water sports, but I am especially in love with sailing competitively. I am currently getting my Master's Degree in Unmanned Systems from Embry Riddle University. The purpose of this blog is to track everything I am learning while getting my degree.
